In 2022, her twins were born in the 29th week of pregnancy upon of one of them dying at 25 weeks and
spending 1 month in the mother’s womb willing for the other to develop leaving the parents and the
sibling behind. During her time in hospital and afterwards, he was faced with the non-existence of
support of any kind, the absence of public awareness and the lack of information and education for
parents during pregnancy. He felt that no parents should ever undergo such an awful experience again.

Therefore, in October 2022, he decided to fully register the network. Together with experts and the
team, Bazilio developed declarations, guidelines and information material for parents with preterm
children. In Nov,2022 Kateregga Bazilio was appointed to be part of the Ministry of Health Newborn
